A woman challenged the man and followed him until he left the station
Detectives investigating an alleged upskirting incident at Tottenham Court Road Station have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
A passenger noticed a man using a mobile phone in an upward-facing position, trying to record two young girls on Tuesday, July 14, at around 2.15pm.
After seeing the behaviour, the passenger challenged the man and followed him until he left the station. Officers from the British Transport Police have now released an image of a man who may assist their enquiries.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 321 of 14 July.
“Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
