The victim was attacked after trying to retrieve his bag on a Metropolitan line train
A man travelling on the Tube was left with facial injuries after being attacked by another passenger who attempted to steal his bag.
British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of a man they’d like to speak to, who they believe could help their investigation. The victim was travelling on a Metropolitan line service and had pulled into Ruislip Manor Underground station on Saturday, March 14.
Around 3pm, another passenger picked up his bag, and when the victim challenged him, he was dragged off the train and then repeatedly hit in the head and the face. The victim sustained facial injuries.
Officers believe the man pictured could have information that could aid in their investigation into the incident. Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 420 of 14 March.
