Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall and Rizzle Kicks singer Jordan Stephens have reportedly split after six years together, with multiple sources confirming the pair’s separation
A clip of Jordan Stephens revealing the charming gesture that first won Jade Thirlwall’s heart has resurfaced online, just days after it emerged the pair had reportedly ended their six-year relationship. While neither the Little Mix star nor the Rizzle Kicks singer have officially released a public statement, multiple insider sources have confirmed their separation. Reports suggest that the couple held “frank discussions” about their future before reaching a mutual decision to part ways.
The pair quietly went their separate ways earlier this year, according to reports, despite having moved in together and divided their time between London and Margate throughout their relationship.
Insiders emphasise that the split remains entirely amicable, noting that Jordan continues to be incredibly proud of Jade’s solo career and that “there will always be love between them.”
A clip of Jordan, 34, disclosing how he initially won Jade over has now re-emerged following news of their split. Jordan revealed the gesture he made for the singer during an appearance on Paul C. Brunson’s podcast, We Need To Talk, in an interview last year.
Jordan explained on the podcast that a mutual friend suggested he and Jade, 33, would really hit it off, prompting him to text them and ask whether the friend could “pitch him” to Jade.
The star, from Neasden, London, said his friend took a screenshot of his message and forwarded it to South Shields native Jade.
“She popped in and said, ‘What’s your pitch then'”, he said.
Jordan said he ultimately created an “awful” PowerPoint presentation, because ‘that’s his sense of humour’.
“I went in, and one page was named ‘reasons to like me'” Jordan explained one of the points was that he was ‘more than five friends’ and that he could ‘definitely have more’. He also mentioned that his dog loves him.
“She obviously found that funny, and now we’re almost five years,” he said.
Both performers are immersing themselves in their professional endeavours to help navigate the transition. Jade is currently gearing up for an international solo music tour, while Jordan recently embarked on a solo “spiritual retreat” in Yorkshire to clear his mind.
Before the announcement emerged, eagle-eyed fans spotted several significant warning signs on social media suggesting the pair had parted ways.
This included Jordan completely erasing all shared TikTok content and Instagram photographs featuring Jade from his official accounts. The couple also completely failed to post or publicly acknowledge their sixth anniversary, which fell in mid-May.
