Several roads are to be closed and train stations will operate different entry and exit rules

The Arsenal parade route is set to impact Islington on a large scale this coming weekend. Road closures are set to be in place from as early as 4am on Sunday, May 31.

Due to the parade route, Islington Council will be implementing temporary parking suspensions and road closures across multiple streets in the borough. They are expected to last until 8pm, but could be longer.

Public transport will also be severely impacted and will be very busy. Some stations will operate with restrictions, such as exit-only. Other stations may be completely closed. Arsenal expects at least 500,000 people to attend the parade.

Road closures

Several main roads and residential roads will be closed to accommodate the parade route. There will be strictly no parking on the parade route and side roads from 4am on Sunday, May 31.

If you live on the parade route or on side roads leading to it, you must move your car by this time – any vehicles left will be removed. Signs will be put up in advance on affected roads.
