The Masters 2026 – day two

Koepka’s par putt on nine isn’t terrible but it’s wide, and he bogeys to go to -1.
Rose lines up his putt from around six feet and he holes it, but moves to -1.
Spieth is steady enough with his par putt and he stays on -1.
Elsewhere, a bogey from Li means he moves back to -1. He’s really yo-yoing so far today!

The Masters 2026 – day two
Hatton pulls up short with a birdie chance on 10 but he’ll be safe for par.
Rose is having a brief argument with his caddy over where to pitch his second shot on the ninth, from around 145 yards. It’s a decent effort, rolling back to give himself a birdie chance.
Koepka’s shot is from the left, but it flies long just past the green.
Spieth lines it up from 121 yards – his shot is good initially but it rolls down the hill! He’ll do well to save par.

The Masters 2026 – day two
Kitayama has teed off for the day as he looks to build on a three-under on day one.
On eight, Rose’s approach shot fizzes past the pin and he should be taking another birdie – but he goes wide! He’s furious as he settles for par.
Koepka’s eagle chance goes close but at least it sets him up with an easy birdie too, and he takes it.
Spieth is about six feet away on his birdie attempt but it’s a bizarre effort with nowhere near enough power. He settles for par.

No LIV Golf player breaks par in round one of the Masters as Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau struggle
Sergio Garcia, who finished level par after a round of 72, was the breakaway Saudi-backed series’ best finisher after an opening 18 contested in tough conditions on firm and fast surfaces.
Rahm, the 2023 champion, and the big-hitting DeChambeau had been fancied by many to contend after encouraging form on LIV this year but could well find themselves battling to even make the cut.
