There were no arrests
A man was rushed to the hospital following a crash involving up to three cars on the North Circular by South Woodford. It happened at about 1.05pm yesterday (Thursday, May 21) on A406 North Circular Eastbound.
It forced a closure from A104 Woodford New Road (Waterworks Corner) to the M11 (Charlie Brown’s Flyover). It left long delays with the following three buses on diversion: 123, 275, and SL2. There were no arrests.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.46pm to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Maybank Road and A406, South Woodford. We sent an ambulance crew, a motorcycle paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.” The Met said his injuries were not life-threatening or life-changing.
