Pride on the Park will see some of the world’s biggest pop acts gracing the main stage
Plans are afoot for Brighton & Hove Pride to stage its biggest festival ever this summer as it celebrates its 35th anniversary, with 21st-century pop phenomenon Raye and 20th-century legend Diana Ross headlining Pride on the Park on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, respectively.
Applications for the Pride Parade along Brighton promenade on Saturday, August 1, are now open. General admission tickets for Pride on the Park on Saturday, August 1, are available from £81.66, while tickets for Sunday, August 2, are on sale from £65.70. Weekend tickets for Party in the Park are on sale from £154.20.
Pride on the Park will see some of the UK’s biggest pop acts gracing the main stage. ON Saturday, Raye will be supported by Jessie J, Self Esteem and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, while the drag world’s great supreme Rupaul himself DJing on the decks in a UK festival exclusive. Diana Ross will be supported by Five, Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Spice Girl Melanie C.
This year’s Pride street party will once again be staged on Marine Parade, with multiple fierce and fabulous stages, music zones, bars and food catering. Last year in 2025, the artists frenzying the party crowd across the weekend included the likes of RPDRUK royalty and Celeb BB’s Danny Beard, 80’s icon Sonia, Freemasons, Tayce, Jaguar, Booty Luv, Livin’ Joy feat. Luhzann, Chico and many more!

Brighton’s first Gay Pride took place in 1973, organised by the Sussex Gay Liberation Front, formed in 1971 by students and local LGBTQ+ activists. The group even staged a “Gay Day” in 1972 to test the waters. Brighton was ready but only just. Only a small part of our community felt safe enough to march in 1973, and Pride did not return again until 1991.
This anniversary invites attendees to “remember the courage it took to be visible, during years when showing up at all was an act of resistance”.
