A cooling blanket on Amazon is earning rave reviews during the latest heatwave. The Everlasting Comfort Cooling Blanket costs £39.99.
The blanket is designed to provide a ‘refreshing, breathable feel’. It’s got a dual-sided design; one side wicks away moisture, while the other is 100 per cent cotton. The dual design means one side is perfect for warmer months, while the other is designed for colder months. The blanket comes in grey, white, and blue, and is big enough to fit most beds.
Alternatively, you can try the Oodie Cooling Blanket, which costs £74.25. The lightweight blanket is ‘three times cooler than cotton’ and wicks away heat and moisture.

The Amazon blanket has 4.4 stars from 3,013 reviews. One person said: “This really works! Last night was the first night’s sleep I’ve had in ages! I even had to turn the fan off because I was too cool!
“I have been having disturbed nights because of the heat and hot flushes, but this blanket really cooled me down and I was able to sleep through the night! It’s a godsend and the double is big enough to cover the bed and me, nice material, soft and heavy enough to stay on but nice and light too. Well worth the price, I highly recommend.”

Sadly, the blanket didn’t work for everyone. One person said: “This is a complete waste of money it does absolutely nothing. I’ve had to give it one star as it won’t let me continue but it’s not worth any stars”
But another rave review added: “After reading the description and then the reviews this seemed to be the best option for me. I needed something to cool my hot and itchy legs at night as I was not getting much sleep. This was exactly what I needed, it’s a good size and helps to keep me cool and I have managed to get some sleep. It is very good value for money.”
