Before becoming a councillor, Cllr Monsur published a string of antisemitic posts to his Facebook page throughout 2025. These included posts appearing to question the existence of the Holocaust, showing apparent support for Adolf Hitler and British National Party leader Nick Griffin, and conspiracy theories steeped in far-right antisemitic tropes.
