Police released a picture of a man they want to identify as part of their investigation
Police have launched a photo appeal after two women were sexually assaulted at London Bridge station. A man approached the victims as they waited in line to play the station’s organ at around 11pm on Saturday, May 30.
He began talking to the women before sexually assaulting both of them, the British Transport Police (BTP) said. Investigators have now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
“Officers believe the man in the images could have information that may assist their enquiries,” the force said in a statement.
The photos show a White man of large build, with short brown hair and stubble. He is wearing an Arsenal jersey, grey Nike shorts, white trainers, and several black bracelets on his left arm.
He also has multiple small finger tattoos, as well as a larger tattoo on his right forearm. The man spoke with a northern accent, possibly from North East England, BTP added.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 818 of 3 June. Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
