Haruun Hassan was found with stab injuries in the early hours of Tuesday morning
A man and a woman, both aged 21, were arrested on Sunday, July 5 and have been taken into custody over the murder of a 22-year-old man in Hounslow.
Haruun Hassan was found with serious injuries at the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road on Tuesday, June 30. When police arrived, they found that he had been stabbed and despite the efforts of the London Ambulance Service, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation was launched with forensics teams seen gathering evidence along the stretch of the A4 throughout Tuesday. Photos taken at the scene showed a number of yellow markers set up within a lengthy cordon, and the area strewn with first-aid equipment and clothing.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Waller, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with Haruun’s family during this very difficult time.
“Our investigation is progressing and we have made two arrests, with those people now in custody. We continue to ask any witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to Haruun that night to please contact us as soon as possible.”
