Arthur Fery faces Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon 2026 semi-finals today (July 10)
British sensation Arthur Fery stands just one victory away from a fairytale Wimbledon final, as his remarkable run at the All England Club enters yet another exciting chapter today.
The 23-year-old wildcard has taken the tennis world by storm, fighting his way into the men’s singles semi-finals and becoming only the second wildcard in Wimbledon history to reach the last four. He follows in the illustrious footsteps of the legendary Goran Ivanisevic, who famously went on to clinch the title as a wildcard back in 2001.
Fery, currently ranked 114th in the world, secured his semi-final berth with an impressive straight-sets victory over ninth seed Flavio Cobolli. Now he faces an enormous challenge on Centre Court against second seed and newly-crowned French Open champion Alexander Zverev, reports Wales Online.
Should he pull off yet another stunning upset, he will become the first British man to reach a Wimbledon singles final since Sir Andy Murray lifted the trophy for the second time in 2016.
