No receipt is needed to take the item back
Capri-Sun UK is recalling some batches of the soft drink which had been incorrectly labelled as containing no sugar.
The children’s beverage brand said specific batches of Capri-Sun Orange 10-packs sold in shops across Northern Ireland were wrongly labelled Capri-Sun Orange Zero, despite containing sugar.
The recall applies to Capri-Sun Orange 10x200ml multipacks with batch codes L104, L105 and L106, and a best before date of April 1 2027.
In a consumer notice shared by the Food Standards Agency, Capri Sun UK’s managing director Matthew Done said: “If you have purchased a 10pk Capri-Sun Orange with one of the above batch numbers and a best before date of April 2027, do not consume the product if you are a consumer who is dependent on sugar content (including those with type 2 diabetes ).
“If you’ve bought an affected product, please return the product to the retailer where it was purchased for a full refund. No receipt is required.”
