Tickets are on sale for The Nightmare Realm in London this Halloween
Tickets are on sale for a hell-raising experience in London’s “most haunted house” this Halloween, courtesy of The Nightmare Realm. The eerie attraction has been ranked one of the top Halloween must-sees in Dublin for 17 years and has now glided across the Irish Sea for the first time.
A ghostly production will see 70 live-action ghouls, arch-villains and denizens of the undead roam the 19th Century Avery Hill Mansion in Greenwich, which will be transformed into a nightmarish Hellscape, as guests find themselves trapped in several immersive tales of terror.
The Nightmare Realm runs from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, November 1. Tickets are priced from £30, rising to £38 at peak times.
The first, “Avery Hill Asylum” plunges visitors into all the horrors of wall-up asylums as the mad Dr Thorne conducts twisted experiments, leaving dozens of howling and afflicted beings. Elsewhere, the eerie tale “Sundown Manor” follows a sinister Irish family as they descend upon London, looking for victims to whisk away…
There is no respite from the terror, as the rest of Avery Hill is turned into a “living village” of Halloween, with bizarre entities floating to greet visitors and hidden rooms to explore, plus devilishly leisurely areas to sit down and relax, plus food stalls selling a variety of drinks and snacks.
Tickets unlock five extra immersive experiences, including The Funeral Parlour Experience, The Exorcist Experience, The Séance Experience, The Bloody Mary Experience and The Ouija Experience… all of which are pretty much what they say on the tin.
The Nightmare Realm says: “For the first time, The Nightmare Realm crosses the Irish Sea, bringing its unique brand of cinematic horror to London. But we didn’t come to recreate what you’ve seen before. We’ve come to tell a brand new story.
“Inside Avery Hill Mansion, A Nightmare From Overseas unfolds through two headline immersive horror attractions, Halloween Town and hidden experiences woven throughout the Realm. Every environment, every character and every encounter has been created exclusively for this chapter.
“The Nightmare Realm was never built on repeating the same scares. Every year, we build a new world. Every year, we tell a new story. This year… London becomes part of the legend.”
The Nightmare Realm runs from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, November 1, with tickets from £30
