The British Transport Police need to find the man pictured to assist with ongoing enquiries
Police have launched an investigation to find a creep who sexually assaulted two women on the Tube just days apart. The man first struck on the Northern line at Waterloo station at around 8.40pm on August 1.
When the victim turned to face the male passenger, she saw that he had exposed himself. He then left the train and boarded another heading northbound.
The same man also sexually assaulted another woman on the Northern line near Euston station at around 8pm on August 3. He is yet to be identified, and police are asking anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
The British Transport Police (BTP) has released CCTV footage of a man whom investigators would like to speak to in connection with the case. “Officers believe the man in the images could have information that may assist their enquiries,” the force said in a statement.
The images show an older White man, of average build, with short, curly white hair and a balding patch on the top of the head. He is wearing black glasses, a blue short-sleeved shirt, and black trousers.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact police as soon as possible.
Elsewhere in London, police have launched a CCTV appeal after a woman was upskirted at a Tube station in Newham. A man reportedly pointed his phone up at a woman using the escalator at West Ham during rush hour on July 24.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 716 of 1 August. Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
