The closures in places like Ruislip and are to allow for utility works including gas and water
Several road closures are set to disrupt drivers in Hillingdon over the next few weeks due to utility works set to be carried out across the borough.
This will see several roads closed across the next month until Thursday, October 1. The longest road closure will last 16 days.
Oak Grove in Ruislip will be closed from 8am on Monday, August 31 from the junction of Elm Avenue to the junction of Linden Avenue. This is to allow for Cadent Gas to carry out gas main replacement works.
There will be a diversion route in place via Elm Avenue, Field End Road, Southbourne Gardens and vice versa. The road will reopen on Sunday, September 13 at 5pm.
Ashdown Road in Uxbridge will be closed from 8am on Monday, August 31 until 5pm on Tuesday, September 15. This is to enable repair works to be carried out by Cadent Gas. The road will be closed from the junction of Charnwood Road to the junction of Long Lane.
Long Lane in Uxbridge will be closed from outside number 15 to number 121. The closure will last from 8am on Monday, August 31 until 5pm on Tuesday, September 15. Similarly, this is to allow for repair works to be carried out by Cadent Gas.
Golden Crescent in Hayes will be closed for a week between 8am on Wednesday, September 16, until 5pm Wednesday, September 23, to enable telecoms work to be carried out. The road will be closed from the junction of Printing House Lane.
Abbotsbury Gardens in Pinner will close for 13 days between 8am Monday, September 21, and 5pm Sunday, October 4 to enable gas works repairs. The road will be closed from the junction of Field End Road.
A diversion route will be in place via Rushdene Road, Deane Croft Road, Field End Road and vice versa.
Hurstfield Crescent in Hayes will be closed from 8am on Monday, September 28 until 5pm on Wednesday, September 30, as Affinity Water carries out water main repairs.
The road will be closed from the junction of Balmoral Drive. There is no diversion route in place.
The Close in Pinner will be closed from the junction of Mayfly Close from 8am on Tuesday, September 29, until 5pm on Thursday, October 1. This is to allow for water main repairs – there will be no diversion route in place.
