DUP MP Carla Lockhart, in whose Upper Bann constituency Mr Hamill was attacked, read aloud parts of the inquiry report and said RUC officers “did not sit idly by, they did not collude, they did not facilitate murder – something that has been hurled at them for the last 30 years”.
