Detectives have released footage of a man they need to speak to in connection
Police have launched an appeal for infromation after a man was caught masturbating on a London train. A passenger reported seeing the shocking act on a service between Eustion station and Bushey shortly before 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 19.
The British Transport Police (BTP) is now releasing footage a man that investigators need to speak to in connection.
“Detectives believe the man in the image could have information that may assist their enquiries,” the force said in a statement.
The image shows a man who appears to be in 30s with short brown hair and a beard. He is wearing a white short-sleeved t-shirt and khaki trousers, and is carrying a black backpack.
Anyone who recognises him is urged to contact BTP as soon as soon as possible. Elsewhere in London, police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman on the Elizabeth line in April.
Once the train arrived at Bond Street, the perpetator launched his attack, attempting to disguise his actions within the crowd. He then got off the train at Ealing Broadway.
Anyone who recognises the man pictured is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 600 of 19 August. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
