One man was treated at the scene but was later discharged after the dramatic crash
A double decker bus has crashed into the side of a West London building, with one man injured and treated at the scene after the dramatic collision.
London Ambulance paramedics were called to the scene alongside the Met Police at 7.02pm on Friday, August 28, after reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus colliding with a building on Station Road, Hayes.
Ambulance crews were sent to the scene, and one man was treated at the scene, he was later discharged. The H98 bus can be seen in images from the scene, wedged against the side of an apartment block next to Hayes & Harlington Station, believed to be called Trident House.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 7.02pm on Friday (August 28) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus crashing into a building on Station Road, Hayes.
“We dispatched multiple ambulance crews to the scene. We treated a male at the scene, who was later discharged.”
A TfL spokesman said: “Our thoughts are with the person who was injured when a bus collided with a building in Hayes and Harlington.”
The Met police have been contacted for comment.
